Canterbury Summer Program Policies

Registration for all summer programs is available to current Canterbury families starting Wednesday, March 4, at 6:00 p.m., and open to all on Saturday, March 7, at 10:00 a.m. on the Canterbury website on the Summer Programs page.

Please note that there is a non-refundable registration fee of $25 per child. Registration for individual camps will close at noon the Friday before that camp’s start date.

Drop-off and pick-up are program-specific and will be indicated in the detailed welcome email for each camp. 
 

Early morning drop-off is available starting at 8:00 a.m. each day for an additional fee of $9.00 per day or $35 per week.

Late afternoon pick-up from dismissal to 5:00 p.m. is also available for an additional fee of $9.00 per day or $35 per week.

Drop-off and pick-up should take place within 15 minutes of the program’s start and end times, or extended day fees will automatically be charged to the card on file.

There is a $5.00-per-minute, per-child charge for any pickup after 5:00 p.m.

For campers enrolled in full-day camps or enrolled in a morning and afternoon camp, lunch is between 12:00 and 1:00 p.m. The option to purchase lunch will be available this summer.  A lunch order email will be sent out the week and orders will need to be placed by the Thursday before the start of camp.  Campers are welcomed to pack a lunch as well.  Please bring a refillable water bottle and a.m. and/or p.m. snack.
 

We are excited to offer a convenient lunch option for children staying on campus for the full day only.  Families will have the opportunity to purchase lunches from a selection of approved local vendors.

To place your order, simply log into your account on our registration system
and select your lunch preferences under the "2026 Summer Lunch Program" section.

If your child is not ordering lunch, please bring a packed lunch from home.

Summer Programs at Canterbury are “Electronic Free Zones”.

Phones/tablets/laptops are not allowed to be used in classrooms, on fields, in common areas, or anywhere on campus except: 
1. With instructor permission for specific programs
2. To call a parent with Summer Programs staff permission

Electronics must always be stowed away, including during the Extended Day Program.
